How a Last-Minute Trip Became a Creator Goldmine

Good morning, creators. Missed us? Maybe it’s more of like a “Where in the HELL have you been?”

Regardless, we’re sorry. Kocasters has been VERY busy behind the scenes working vigorously to ensure we have a stable foundation. Not only that, but we’re reconstructing our entire presence on Discord, and it may be what shapes the future of our organization. OH, and did we mention we’re taking the steps to move towards 501(c)(3) organization status?

Enough about us though- What’s new with creators and why didn’t we think about attending more Con’s sooner? Is that our future, and WHO is that Queen??

Meet Rae, and the magic they brought to the Renaissance Fair.

🃏 How I made it to Ren Fair:
On a random Saturday some friends invited me to tag along with them to go to the Georgia Renaissance Festival. I went, and it’s the best decision I’ve made in a while. I had the pleasure of meeting SO many talented creators, but this article spotlights one specific creator that really brought the magic and many smiles to Ren Faire.


✨ Rae’s Ren Faire Magic:
As I ventured through all the stands and events, there was something (or in this case someone) else that caught my attention over and over again. A most cheerful and captivating clown making balloon dogs for everyone. That cheerful clown was Rae! I was beyond ecstatic to meet them and after we spoke, we took a photo before parting ways. Although, I may have walked away with a new golden balloon dog. 👀

🌟 Who is Rae?
We asked Rae to tell us about themselves a bit, and here is what they told us:

Smiles are what fuel Rae’s cosplay and content creation. In their words, “As corny as it sounds, I do it for my own fun and help people have fun with me.” Rae’s goal to bring smiles transcends just being a performative act, it’s who they are, and their friendly face shares that goal. In their own way, they bring the same magic otherwise only found in the walls of a Disney theme park.
